Teaching Using Webex Meetings in a Connected Classroom
Starting a Class Session Using the Telepresence Equipment:
1) The instructor will first tap the “Join Webex” button.
2) The instructor will then enter the meeting number and press the green “Join” button.

(The meeting number and the host key will be sent to each instructor prior to the start of the semester.)

3) The instructor will then be prompted for the host key. The instructor will tap the “Keypad” icon in the meeting
control panel at the bottom of the Touch 10 and then enter the host key. After entering the host key, the instructor
will press #.
Ending the Class Session:
-It is important that the instructor pay attention to the time as the meeting will not automatically end at the
scheduled end time. The meetings must be ended manually.

-When the instructor is ready to end the class session they should direct students in the other connected
classrooms, and the students connected via computer, to disconnect from the class session first. After all other
connected classrooms and students connected via computer have disconnected, the instructor can disconnect by
tapping the red “End Call” icon in the meeting control panel at the bottom of the Touch 10.
